Revit: Change array behavior

What a nice array of trees 🙂
They’ve been created using the array command with the “Last” option checked.

This means that  if I change the number of trees afterwards, new trees will be created after the last one. (Select one of the array elements and then select the array counter).

So when you use the “Last” option you will always add new copies after the last one.

But, if needed, you can easily switch to the “2nd” array type, meaning that new elements will be added BETWEEN the first and the last one.

Just select one of the array elements and select the array line. Now you can switch between “2nd” and “Last” behavior in the options bar:
